Worship Services
- Sunday Morning Services at 9:50am are a blend of contemporary and traditional styles. The congregation worships through uplifting music and sermons that are relevant to the issues of today
- Kid’s Zone is a five minute teaching time with the children and youth during the Sunday service that talks about the Scripture text and sermon theme for the day.
- Spirit Kid’s Club includes children ages 4-12 that meet downstairs after the Kid's Zone on Sunday morning. Rotating teaching teams of adults and youth lead activities that focus on Faith, Fun and Friendship.
- Twosense is a spiritual formation time for youth and young adults that follows the Worship Services. Traci Hubbard leads this session in an open, inclusive and relaxed forum that facilitates spiritual conversation around the scripture text and sermon theme of the day.
- Fire and Grace Contemplative Worship Service is a weekly time of quiet meditation and prayer
- Celebrations of Life including Weddings, Funerals, Baptisms and Confirmations are always accommodated
Music
Nancy Jackson is our Music Director. She can be contacted at choral@livingspirit.ca- The Spirit Chorus choir provides diverse and varied music, in the form of hymns and anthems, for each week's Sunday service. Twice a year the choir hosts or participates in a special musical event. Rehearsals are held weekly. This is a very warm and friendly group of musicians who welcome newcomers.
- Spirit Kidz is a choir program aimed at children from 5-14 years old. Practice is held at the end of Sunday School classes each week learning new songs and having fun. Musicals and plays are performed during special services.
- Spirit Sound is a contemporary music group, who provide a praise style of music at the beginning of each Sunday service, putting us into a decidedly, joyful frame of mind, preparing us to worship God.
